I Call That a Wednesday

So last Wed was a pretty normal one for me

at least it started that way

but one thing I love about my life is a normal night can take a pretty interesting turn

so, it's 10:45

I'm done with work

I have my laptop with me and I'm gonna work on something at the station after hours

but first I'm gonna run to the store for something

I leave my laptop with Paulie at work

So we got an Eskimo Hut here in Vic

big deal right?

well, their specialty is they sell daiquiris of various flavors

and they have a drive thru

so KAte the Great and myself loaded up on some and brought them back  to work

it was a great day at the office

a great day (hiccup)

Five Months Doing Hard Time...

nah, I've had a decent time here

but with five months under my belt here, I'm ready to go back

this new guy that I'm training will be sharing editing duties with me once he's ready

I still have another week with him

one more week to make him a perfect replacement

Kate tells me she' s gonna schedule me to do odd jobs at the station

yeah

it's time to go

once I reach my six month mark next month I'm gonna start checking the websites in Austin and I guess in different cities around Texas for jobs in my field

in  my teens I took an amazing journey through the blues

in my travels I discovered Etta James for myself

amazing voice

that voice filled the den many, many nights

it's telling me it's time to register for 2012's event

I hadn't thought about the event much lately

and I wasn't sure if I was gonna make this a yearly thing

so, Jan is here and I've been slacking a little on working out

I was pretty consistent in the fall and the winter but have slacked since the new year got here

I guess my resolution for this year is to go to the gym less

and I'm keeping up with it pretty good

nah, I guess I've just been busy

like this week for example, Wed I'll be in Houston and Sat I'll be in S.A.

the Big V show just loves to go on the road

I just had a couple of things to write down

first off, I'm training someone at work

I've trained a lot of people at work but I've never trained them this way

I feel sorry for the guy

he has to learn the easy and the hard way

also this is the last guy I'll ever train at that station
